Introduction to the Parent Child Program
Welcome to the Corvallis Waldorf School Parent Child Program. The goal of the program is to introduce Waldorf Early Childhood Education to parents and their young children, ages 1 month to 3 years. The 6 week morning program is designed for you to experience the activities that carry us gently through our days at school. We will provide a daily craft activity, a healthy snack, and circle time with songs, games, finger plays, and story or puppet play. There will also be opportunities for discussion on provided child development and parenting articles. Outdoor play time will round out our morning.
Daily Rhythm
9:00 Arrival: Coats hung, slippers put on
9:00 Free play, snack preparation, craft activity
9:45 Clean up time, set table for snack
10:00 Circle time, handwashing
10:15 Snack, dishwashing
10:45 Story, puppet play
11:00 Outside play
