The CWS has had a tradition of making home made ice cream for an ice cream social on the last day of school. It started out as a kindergarten gift to the school and has transformed into the upcoming-first graders and their mentors-to-be (8th graders), meeting and working together.
Those families that are interested, we will be picking strawberries on Monday June 14th. Anyone interested could clean and prepare the strawberries on TUESDAY, June 15 or on WEDNESDAY, June 16. WEDNESDAY we will meet at the school and make the ice cream, let it cure and then serve it after the assembly on THURSDAY, JUNE 17th.
