Two TreesBy Kayla ReimanTwo trees stand, silhouetted against the sky Dark and alone in an open field They seem like one tree except for their trunks The tips of their branches create a grand circle The larger oak stands tall, hundreds of years old Its roots reach deep into the ground Providing nutrients for the great tree The smaller tree stands strong, despite its size Together, the two trees look like a single oak, Holding their ground in the middle of a field They make a wonderful picture of nature together |
