‘Boys Alive’ – Parent Education Night

Many boys play, learn, and communicate so differently than most girls. What’s going on here?  Are they really that different?  What makes them different? How can we create homes and schools that meet both boys and girls – encouraging their strengths and understanding their unique qualities, too?  Janet Allison, founder of Boys Alive! has been contemplating these questions for 20+ years as a teacher and a parent.  She shares perspectives from science, adds in communication styles and practical strategies.  Parents often say they understand their partners more deeply with these insights, too.  Learn more at www.boysalive.com and join us in the Corvallis Waldorf School gym on Wednesday evening, November 8th from 6-7:30 pm for this dynamic dialogue!  Waldorf families are encouraged to sign up for child care for their 3 years and older students from 6-7:30.  Donations are graciously accepted.
